    Yes. A favorite of mine too. I hope we have come out the other side of that long period when people thought it wasn't 'cool' to like him. I think he's got an awesome eye, a great story sense, and technique to burn. What's not to love, right?

    Yeah, a lot of people don't seem to like him, surprisingly. I love that style and I love the subject matter. I could look at any one of his paintings for a long time and still not see it all.

    It's like stills of Mayberry. Not only the way thigs used to be, but probably as things should be.

    He also had a few political subjects, as well, although they, too, were just a slice of life and didn't need to hit you over the head to get his message across.
